Lymington is losing its salt marsh. 

Lymington Harbour Commissioners have recently concluded construction of Phase 1 of a long term Harbour Protection scheme to protect the Harbour as the marshes are lost.   NFDC has been monitoring the loss of marshes in the Solent over many years.

There are 6 papers relating to this - all pdf format and some quite large and unsuitable for non broadband "surfers" (see links)
