264 Cadet Squadron
About the Lymington Cadet Class:
We currently have six regular cadets sailing out of Lymington on both a National and Local standard and they attend a number of RYA training squads both on the Southern zone and National squad.
We are currently trying to attract a larger fleet to get involved with the Monday night club racing; the Cadet class have various Sunday morning coached training sessions available to anybody interested.
The Club has two cadets available for those sailors who would like to try the cadet before committing to buying a boat; this can be booked through the Mike. Mike can be contacted using the 'contact' tab on the right hand side of this page.

They are two ways that children can become Members of the Yacht Club:
1. Full Family Membership
If a parent or both parents join then the children can become family Members. This is the preferred way and offers lots more benefits, such as subsidised coaching, cheaper tariff in the bar, full use of the Club's facilities access to training courses and opportunities to support the Juniors.
2. Junior Membership
Children can join in there own right as Junior Members. The annual subscription is the only as much as the cost of a buoyancy aid, however there are additional costs for coaching, which don't apply to family members.
For more information on Membership click here, or email the Membership Secretary. Alternatively you can email the Class Captain.
