Inter-Club Scow Challenge Cup 2012

Who:       The Royal Lymington Yacht Club.

What:      Interclub Challenge for 3 boat Lymington River Scow Teams

Why:       Fantastic Venue, multiple races in Western Solent!

We are pleased to announce that planning is well underway to host our 2012 Scow Inter-Club Challenge. The competition is to be fleet racing with teams of three Scows from various Clubs.

Weather dependent there will be two races on the Saturday morning, two in the afternoon and another two on the Sunday morning, with the best aggregate team score winning.

The Scows will be provided by the Royal Lymington Yacht Club and it is expected that we will be able to provide sufficient boats for up to twelve clubs to send teams.

On the social side, there will be a Supper for competitors on Saturday 22nd September 2012. Tickets for the evening event can be purchased in advance from the Royal Lymington Yacht Club Office. All teams and their supporters are most welcome!

There will be competitor briefings both mornings at approx. 10:00hrs before the first race. We will also be offering bacon sandwiches & a drink for £3.00 each.

For those sailors coming from afar, we will be more than happy to arrange accommodation with members of our Scow Division.
