Booking events at the Club

The details for each event include the booking arrangements.

Event Evenings:

Email the office. If tickets are still available, they will charge the tickets to your Club Card and place them in the Members’ Post pigeon - hole (preferred) or send them to your address if requested.
If your card balance is too low, the Office will contact you to arrange payment. If the event is full, you will be notified by e-mail. Alternatively, telephone 01590 672677

Book with the Restaurant

For non-event evenings, please reserve a table with Mark, particularly if you wish to dine on a Friday or Saturday, to avoid disappointment.

Lectures, quiz and bridge evenings

Add your name to a list on the Club notice board, which is usually posted three weeks in advance. If you can’t get in to the Club and would like to attend an event, you may e-mail the Office.

Lectures

There is no charge for lectures but numbers are limited, so early booking is recommended. On lecture evenings a limited menu is available, usually comprising 3 or 4 main courses and a variety of puddings. If you sign up, but subsequently find you cannot attend, again please remove your name from the list or tell the Office staff.

Payments

If, subsequently, you cannot attend an event, a refund can be made to your Club card if you give a minimum of 24hrs notice (one week for Christmas Party Buffet with music, Turkey Dinner, New Year's Eve Party and New Year's Day Brunch), unless the Office can re-sell the tickets to someone on a waiting list (which of course cannot be guaranteed).
