POLICY & PROCEDURE

The procedure for booking is very straight foward. You will need to complete a Training Course Form and pay the course fee to the Club Office. We accept cash, cheque or credit cards.  Members may also use the their Club Card either in person or via telephone or email.   Your place will be secured once payment has been received in full.

*The Royal Lymington Yacht Club believes that volunteers who contribute their time to the sailing programme should benefit from the opportunity to further their qualifications at a minimal cost. Therefore our course fees are considerably less than those charged at a commercial training centre. The officers responsible for each sailing section should nominate volunteers who should be rewarded with priority places on training. The RLymYC reserves the right to allocate course places to best suit volunteer training requirements. Non-member volunteers may also get priority but will be charged the non-member rate. At the Club’s discretion places maybe allocated in order to ensure the cost effectiveness of the course.

**There will be no refunds unless the course is cancelled by the Club due to lack of interest, this decision will be made no later than 7 days prior to the start of the course. If you can't make a course which you have paid for, a refund will be considered, providing a paying candidate has been found to take your place.
