CLASSES: IRC Endorsed

The R Lym YC shall have the discretion to accept a 3 boat challenge from any nationally affiliated Yacht Club or Association. The Notice of Race is available by clicking the link above.  A challenge form for relevant clubs may also downloaded above.

To let us know about your interest in the event, whether as a club, individual owner or member of the press, we would very much like you to submit one of the following on line forms below.  We will contact you and send further information as it appears.

NUMBER OF TEAMS: Each Yacht Club or Association may send unlimited teams, except that the R Lym YC reserves the right to impose a limit to the entry numbers.

BOAT/TEAM ELIGIBILITY: A team shall consist of three boats, one from each of the following rating bands:

(DLR = Displacement Length Ratio - as printed on each boat's IRC (Endorsed) certificate)

Each boat shall have a valid IRC (Endorsed) certificate.

SPECIAL REGULATIONS: Category 4.

ISAF COMPETITOR CLASSIFICATION CODE: ISAF Regulation 22, Sailor Classification Code, shall apply. The event is a Group 1 and Group 2 event, except that each boat may include one Group 3 crewmember. In addition the Group 3 crewmember shall not helm the yacht unless he or she has been the bona fide majority owner of the same yacht for the previous 12 months. Documentation may be inspected. Details of the ISAF Competitor Classification Code and information on how to register and classify can be found on the ISAF website: www.sailing.org/classification.

Sailors requiring a classification should apply, in plenty of time, on the ISAF website www.sailing.org/isafsailor. Any crew member not classified will be assumed to be Group 3.
